Other important decisions taken by the Central Government, including the removal of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Article 370 in the year 2019, will have to pass the Supreme Court Calitamus Test in the year 2020. These are some of the issues which had been on the BJP's agenda since the beginning and these issues have been raged in the ruling party and opposition parties. The decision of the Supreme Court on the 2019 Rafael deal was a big relief to the central government as the issue was loudly raised by the opposition parties in the Lok Sabha elections and the ruling party was accused of corruption.

The year 2019 will also be remembered for the Ayodhya case. This dispute, which has been going on for many decades, was settled by the Supreme Court. This issue was also seen by connecting with the government in power at the Center. The New Year, which started after a severe cold, may get 'political warmth' from the Supreme Court. In the coming days, the Supreme Court will hear a serious issue like CAA. Protests are being held continuously in many provinces of the country regarding this issue.

While one section of the society is strongly against the CAA, the central government is not ready to take its step on this issue. More than 60 petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court regarding this issue. It will now be seen what the Supreme Court will decide on this. Apart from this, the Supreme Court will also examine sensitive issues like removing Article 370 and dividing the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories. In the coming days, the Supreme Court will also give a verdict on how far the restrictions in the Kashmir Valley are justified after the removal of Article 370.

Apart from this, the Supreme Court will also test the 103rd Constitution Amendment bill. Under this act, 10 percent reservation in jobs and educational institutions has been given to economically weaker people. The government's decision in the petitions filed against it has been declared unconstitutional.

The Supreme Court will also examine the government's decision to make triple talaq a punishable offense. Under this law, there is a provision of punishment for three years. Many petitions have also been filed regarding this issue. At the same time, the Supreme Court will also examine the decision of the Central Government to bring an Electoral Bond.
